MIT WPU School of Economics Pune is one of the affiliated colleges of MIT-World Peace University situated in Pune the cultural capital of Maharashtra. Located at the S.No. 124, Paud Road, Kothrud, this institute offers best of the education in the field of economics. Though the year of establishment is not mentioned it has grown rapidly to be an important school for economical sciences. The institute also provide programmes at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels which is major in full-time courses for students those who wants to focus in the fundamentals of economic theories.

The physical facilities at MIT WPU School of Economics include facilities for the delivery of teaching and other learning activities as follows. MIT WPU School of Economics currently offers two main courses: the 3 years B.Sc Economics (Hons) course and 2 years M.Sc Economics course. Both are full-time courses which is a hallmark of the IMI institute to offer full time intensive course in economics. The B.Sc programme has an intake capacity of 60 students but the M.Sc programme has an authorised intake of 40 students only. These are some realistic classroom characteristics that guarantee students receive individual attention and active class participation. This academic programme offered by the institute is aimed at the acquisition of sound knowledge in economic theories and attraction of skills and approach to problem solving.
