MIT WPU School of Economics, Pune Admission Process

MIT World Peace University School of Economics, Pune is one of the most prestigious institutes offering specialized programs in the discipline of economics. In order to fulfill this objective, the admission process at MIT WPU School of Economics selects able and passionate students for their economics programs. The institute offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in economics, specializing in full-time education in economic theories and their practical applications.

MIT WPU School of Economics has usually taken an academic year for the admission cycle. That is, it is from July or August.   1. Registration: Students get themselves registered for the appropriate entrance tests. For example, for B.Sc Economics, students need to appear for the MIT-WPU CET UG General; M.Sc Economics students need to give the MIT-WPU CET PI. Most probably through the website of MIT WPU.
  2. Entrance Examination: MIT-WPU CET UG General 2025 will be taken online proctored for B.Sc Economics. The entrance examination is conducted to check the basic aptitude and knowledge of the students that is required in economics education.
  3. Personal Interview/Interaction: In B.Sc Economics, the students who have done well in the entrance test are shortlisted and are called for the Personal Interview round. In case of M.Sc Economics, MIT-WPU CET procedure is Personal Interaction round amalgamated with the PI.
  4. Documents: Under this, undergraduate students' documents will include the record of the same, that is 10th and 12th. For the people who have selected postgraduation, there must be a graduation certificate with an entrance exam scorecard. Other institute-included certificates, if any.
  5. Merit List: The add-on of entrance exam with PI/Personal Interview has to produce merit list.
  6. Admission Confirmation: The students have to confirm admission from the institute with necessary fees and all formality.

For B.Sc Economics, the students have to prepare for the MIT-WPU CET UG General 2025 exam. B.Sc Economics : This is an Undergraduate programme that lasts 3 years in duration. At the MIT WPU School of Economics, an intake of 60 students undergoes this program. The entry procedure into the course is twofold: First, any candidate has to take the entrance exam online known as the online proctored entrance exam termed as the MIT-WPU CET UG General 2025. Then based on merit shortlisted candidates shall have to pass through a PI (Personal Interview). Final Selection: Admission shall be made considering the students' performance in both the stages combined.

M.Sc Economics: This is a 2-year postgraduate course with an intake of 40 students. Admission to this program is mainly done through the scores obtained in MIT-WPU CET PI 2025, where the Personal Interaction round is part of the procedure. This would help the institute judge not only the academic competence but also communication skills and other qualities of a candidate for pursuing advanced studies in economics.
