MKCG Medical College, Berhampur, is a highly reputed government medical college in Odisha, India. The college provides numerous medical courses at undergraduate, postgraduate, and super-specialty levels. MKCG Medical College's admission process is very competitive and merit-based on national-level entrance exams.
The college usually starts its admission procedure in May-June for the August-September starting academic year. The admissions for undergraduate courses are on the basis of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) scores. Postgraduate admissions are on the basis of NEET-PG scores, and the super-specialty courses take the NEET-SS scores into consideration.

Degree wise Admission Process
MBBS: There are 250 seats available in the college's MBBS course. Admission occurs through the merit list of NEET-UG. The applicants should have a 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
MD/MS: MKCG Medical College has several MD and MS courses under its umbrella such as General Medicine, General Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Anaesthesiology, and others. Admission is through scores in NEET-PG. Seats are limited for each specialisation, between 2 to 19.
DM/M.Ch: Postgraduate courses such as DM Cardiology, and Endocrinology, and M.Ch Plastic Surgery and Urology are offered. Admissions are through the scores obtained in NEET-SS. Each course has 2-3 seats.
Diploma Courses: Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology and Diploma in Medical Radiology Technology are also offered by the college. The admission process for these two courses may vary from the MBBS and postgraduate courses.

I am pursuing my MBBS at MKCG Medical College because of its superb teaching quality. Our college's lecturers are well- qualified and very engaging and experienced. The course is up to date and contains practical case studies from the hospital and outpatient department.
I'm perusing MBBS since 2019. The answer to why is I qualified neet fortunately and it's my dream to be a doctor ,,so I am here . The professors of every department are amzing ,,most importantly the way they demonstrate the practical is so esy to understand and practice. It's under MCI so curriculum is updated and executed very well. As all know mbbs is a guaranteed job course ,nothing to worry about but u've to go through the process and should try to master in all departments for better future

You can't pass NEET Exam by paying money. You have to work hard and do study to get a good rank in NEET that will get you admission in the best college that you wanted. The charge is only for filling the NEET Application form. You can't buy marks. You can invest money to make you preparation better.

So you'll need to apply for 15% ALL INDIA Quota To get into MKCG college Odisha. The cutoff in 2018 was 541 marks for the unreserved category for 15% AIQ which is equivalent to an AIQ rank of 9274. At the same time, competition increases every year as it depends on various factors like number of candidates appearing and also the paper level, etc and also the fact that jipmer and AIIMS are merged into neet.
