Nagaland Tool Room and Training Centre NTTC was founded in the year 2006 in Dimapur, Nagaland is one of the well known technical institute. Located in the New Industrial Estate they are an affiliated college which occupies a twelve square acre complex which aims to provide a combination of both sound practical and theoretical learning. AICTE has recognised NTTC to demonstrate the institution’s dedication towards providing appropriate technical knowledge. The highlight of the college is a Computer Lab equipped with the finest machinery and software capacity for design & machining, for the technological needs of the future.
The institute currently offers one flagship course: a Diploma in Tool and Die Making. This full-time programme running for four years Social Work and has a government-sanctioned admission capacity of 60. The course is focused to prepare students with specific knowledge and practical abilities required for tool and die making which is an important section in manufacturing and engineering industries. Thus, the institute is aimed at this particular specialisation only, but one might notice that it is ready to deliver a profound and focused education in this specific area of engineering.
NTTC has very strict admission requirements and process for entry and its success is based on merit. The applicant is subjected to written tests, examinations and interviews as deemed appropriate by the Chief Executive Officer.
