About Nagaland Tool Room and Training Centre, Dimapur

Nagaland Tool Room and Training Centre NTTC was founded in the year 2006 in Dimapur, Nagaland is one of the well known technical institute. Located in the New Industrial Estate they are an affiliated college which occupies a 7 square acre complex which aims to provide a combination of both sound practical and theoretical learning. AICTE has recognised NTTC to demonstrate the institution’s dedication towards providing appropriate technical knowledge. This is an institute like any other technical institution with 83 students and faculties of 14 most of whom are both technician and engineers in the making.

NTTC has been established with all latest amenities that have been useful in creating a good learning environment for its students. Three hostel buildings have been freshly built for the students with fully furnished double bedded rooms like Aquaguard Water filtering plant, Cable Connection facility, 24 hrs running water supply. Book, titles and Journals enriched the library and additional E-library facilities incorporated to do the extensive search work. Sports facilities are provided to the students for their convenience as a part of health care. The highlight of the college is a Computer Lab equipped with the finest machinery and software capacity for design & machining, for the technological needs of the future.

The institute currently offers one flagship course: a Diploma in Tool and Die Making. This full-time programme running for four years Social Work and has a government-sanctioned admission capacity of 60. The course is focused to prepare students with specific knowledge and practical abilities required for tool and die making which is an important section in manufacturing and engineering industries.

NTTC has very strict admission requirements and process for entry and its success is based on merit. The applicant is subjected to written tests, examinations and interviews as deemed appropriate by the Chief Executive Officer.

Diploma in Computer Science and Engineering: The program offered is available to the students at NTTC, approved for only a maximum of 30 students.
