The National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology, Calicut was established in 1989 and affiliated with the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). NIELIT Calicut is also certified by the ISO for following the design, delivery, development, and approval of Education and Training of programmes in Information Electronics and Communication Technology (IECT). The NIELIT Calicut courses are offered at the postgraduate level. The NIELIT Calicut courses include M.Tech in various fields.
