The National Institute of Fashion Technology, Kangra, located in the Kangra Valley embarked on its journey in 2009. Since its inception, NIFT Kangra has emerged as a significant contributor to the textile, apparel, lifestyle accessories, and fashion communication industries. The courses at the National Institute of Fashion Technology Kangra include a Bachelor of Design (B.Des) in Fashion Design, Accessory Design, Textile Design and Fashion Communication along with a B.F.Tech (BFT) in Apparel Production, Master of Design (M.Des) and Master of Fashion Management (MFM).
