The NIFT Kangra campus has a hostel facility for Girls only. NIFT Kangra Girls hostel is spread over 12 acres. 238 rooms accommodating 476 students and an additional 180-bed facility starting soon.Medical Assistance and In-house Counseling Facility. The NIFT Kangra has used e-Granthalaya, an integrated multi-lingual library management software, developed by the National Informatics Centre (NIC) for collection management and offering numerous proactive information services. NIFT Kangra library has significant features of the system including Union catalog, Web OPAC, Advanced search, Article Index, Barcode-based circulation, and Cloud-Ready Application.

The NIFT Kangra has promoted interaction across campuses, the best of the best from all campuses compete at ‘Converge’, an annual centralised cultural and sports event hosted by anyone NIFT Campus. NIFT Kangra sports promote the inter-competitive spirit of the students enabling them to boost their confidence through different levels.

The NIFT Kangra has Computer labs In this era of digital transformations, the success of fashion professionals rests on their ability to integrate fashion and information technology in a meaningful way. NIFT Kangra IT infrastructure plays a key role in providing an IT-enabled learning environment, to develop computer-savvy, well-rounded professionals. All academic departments maintain computer labs thereby integrating IT with academics. NIFT Kangra computer labs are well equipped with state-of-the-art equipment like Macintosh workstations, Desktops, Plotters, Digitizers, Image Scanners, Wide Format Printers, Sound Mixers, Digital Cameras, etc. All NIFT campuses are covered by the National Knowledge Network (NKN) with a connecting speed of 100Mbps/1 Gbps.

NIFT Kangra provides departmental laboratories. This ensures that the students have practical knowledge and hands-on experience. NIFT Kangra labs include the photography lab. The NIFT Kangra has guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members. 4 guest rooms are available for parents at nominal rates, based on availability. NIFT Kangra guest rooms are provided with all the basic amenities like TV, Wi-Fi, sofa, and comfortable beds.
