NPTI Faridabad provides Post-Graduate Diploma (PGD) courses in Power Plant Engineering and MBA Power Management Courses. Admission in courses are done on the basis of Merit and entrance exams followed by an interview and counselling.

The NPTI has a placement cell that provides job opportunities to the students.  The NPTI PGD program also provides students with practical training in power plants.
