College infrastructure has improved over the years. But till date the washrooms are old and dirty. This is one thing I want the College to improve on. No Hostel is provided within the college campus for UG students. But for MD students residence is there in the college campus itself.
From books to syllabus, everything has to be found by the student here. Teachers are busy with their patients as they are medical officers working in the College) hospital. Our is affiliated to Delhi university. Syllabus is as per the board of homoeopathy.
No, there is no campus placement provided here. No such drives have been in medical colleges. There are multiple job opportunities available after graduation, and these can be very easily found in secured by the students who graduate from a prestigious institution like (NHMC).
In total, the annual fee is 1250 rupees. Apart from this, the only expense incurred is for the books we purchase and the examination fee. At the end with such little investment also we get tag of having graduated in homeopathy from one of the best institutes in India and that’s the biggest return.
Only homeopathic UG and PG students found the crowd of the college. All batches have exams are different different times. So there is a batch of students that is always missing. Altogether, only 600 students approx make the whole college. Many events happen, we enjoy it completely.
Basic infrastructure and facilities were there when I started my graduation. Later on during Covid when our college became a Covid centre infrastructure improved. The whole college building became centralised air conditioned. Projects were installed in classrooms and furniture’s were replaced by new ones.
When you come to a government medical College, you shouldn’t expect teachers to teach everything in the syllabus. Most of the professors are doctors treating patients in the college hospital. So sometimes they can’t make it to the classes and take lectures so you need to study the rest of the syllabus on your own. But the patient exposure we get through clinicals and internship period makes us ready for jobs ahead.
Government colleges don’t provide placement opportunities be it (NHMC) or any other government medical College. You can open up a clinic after graduation or pursue post graduation or give government exams for vacancies of medical officer and if not all these go for other RMO jobs. But you have to find all this by yourself.
Our annual fee is the lowest. It is 1250 rupees. So definitely we got the worth for money. Nowhere in India Can you find a homeopathy College with such low fee also this stipend paid to interns at (NHMC) is the highest compared to other peer colleges.
Campus life is sometimes boring and sometimes exciting. Most of the year is dull, but when events like freshers, teachers day, 3 day fest, farewell et cetera have been the mood changes altogether and College becomes very lively.
Centralised air conditioning is provided throughout college with air purifiers as well fitted in classrooms. Projectors are also provided in classrooms. All these services are used and well maintained. There’s is no wifi though.
Professors of this college are Medical officers working at college hospital so many at times they fail to take lectures due to heavy patient load. Only half of the syllabus is taught rest half has to be studied by students on their own.
There are no placements. The reputation of the college adds weightage to our CVs while goibg for job interviews. Also the next step after graduation is going for MD and/or government jobs. And being from NHMC this is a easy task to you.
The annual fee is ₹1250. This is the least fee currently be it any collge in India. So definitely what we get is worth the money. And stipend is also paid when we become interns. The exposure of patients we get is incomparable to other homoeopathic colleges.
This college gives you full freedom to be you. There are no strict implications as such. But it’s your responsibility to pass exams timely. The freedom here comes with responsibility. Seniors guide us throughout and are a great company.
Infrastructure is average. Classrooms have centralised air conditioning though. Residence is only for JRs (MD students). There is no sports center. Library doesn’t have enough number of books and is not open most of the times.
Teachers here hardly teach anything. Finding out rhe syllabus, reference books, study materials are all on the student itself. Seniors do guide us all throughout. So if you expect teachers to teach you everything here forget it.
There are no placements here. Government medical colleges don’t provide any placements. Last one year is internship. That year you get a monthly stipend of 23,500₹ a month. That internship year is full of postings at various places across Delhi as per the college instructions.
The annual fee is ₹1250. This is very cheap as compared to other government colleges as well. Hence the disinterest shown by teachers. Teachers here are MOs serving duties in the hospital. They don’t have time and the dedication to teach you.
See medical colleges very rarely offer an amazing campus life. Almost at all medical colleges campus life is average. There are few events during the year. DJ session is the biggest attraction of those events.
Earlier it was not well constructed and maintained but in my final year, it got renovated, with classrooms having digital boards and projectors. But there is mess or cafeteria, which i think is very important for students as well as doctors.
Exams are conducted once in a year, there is no semester system, or internal assignments as such. you are just marked on your final exams and vivas. Faculty completes most part but not the entire syllabus.
No placements at all. They do not even guide you much regarding post graduation exams or UPSC exams, it is entirely you luck and caliber. to crack the exams. Or you can work with chains like Doctor Batra but you have to apply on your own.
Building is the same old, but now it has been renovated, they have made it entirely air conditioned, both IPD, OPD, and classrooms. Now classrooms have smart boards and projectors. But there is no playground or play area as such.
There was not much strictness regarding the attendance in our time, some professors taught very well, but they were usually overburdened with patients in OPD and IPD, so they did not get much time to teach.
After completing BHMS, college does not promise any sort of placement, you have to clear NEET PG if you have to go for MD in any subject. you can also start your own practice, by setting up a clinic..
Yes fees is just 1250 per year
No campus area as such
Infrastructure is not that great, there nothing like a campus, one small building where classes are held, no playground area. just like an old government building. There is no canteen or mess. There is no hostel facilities for undergraduates.
Teachers usually dont show up, only junior residents come and teach in class as well in clinical classes. exams are held only once in a year, there is no regular or internal assessment. we are only asked to prepare files.
No placement cell or committee and hence no placements. But the internship provided by the college which a part of BHMS, is paid. A good stipend of around 23000 for a year but after that you have to find a job on your own.
At my time, classrooms infrastructure was not that good, but during my internship tenure, post covid classrooms were developed, became air conditioned and projectors were installed for a digital classroom experience.
Main faculty teaches well but usually do not cover whole syllabus, you have to cover up on your own, JRS also teach very well, along with theory clinicals are also there, subject wise IPD and OPD experience is there.
Just like any other medical college, your have to clear NEET for bachelors as well as post graduation, You can externally apply to Doctor Batras or Baksons clinic chains. or can prepare for MD exams..
The college has changed a lot in the past few years. The infrastructure has gotten better. But there are still few facilities like wifi, ATM that are not available. Hostel facility is available for PG students
I am pursuing MD Homoeopathy the subject Materia Medica. The admission is through an online central exam AIAPGET. The quality of teaching is average. The number of classes as compared to ug is less in pg.
PG students get a 3 year residentship under delhi government. They are paid basic stipend. After that they can opt for further options like lecturer or mo, for these there are further exams. Or they can run there own private clinic
The fees for pg course is Rs 15900 per year. The fees is affordable as compared to other colleges providing the same course. Other than fees other expenditures can be on travel, books etc. ............
The college is situated in defence colony which is a posh area in Delhi and is completely safe for everyone. We can reach here by any mode of transport, metro being the most affordable. There are many markets around here
Overall the college is good. It is the best college for post Graduation in homoeopathy in India. There are some areas where the college can do better...................................................
The college infrastructure has changed a lot since I got my admission here, but it still lacks many necessary amenities like wifi, college canteen, ATM facility. The hospital block has also changed a lot since I first came here. There is no hostel facility for ug students
I studies BHMS here, which is the bachelors course for Homoeopathy, it as a five and half years course including 1 year of paid internship under govt of India. The quality of teaching is average. The curriculum is updated according to the CCH rules.
There is no placement cell in this college. The graduates have to give further government exams for jobs. The college provides 1 year of internship in which we are paid basic minimum stipend. After that the graduates can opt for whatever sector either pvt or govt for themselves
The fees was around Rs.3000 per year. Compared to other colleges our fees was very affordable. According to me the fees was worth it as we got free library and lab facilities. The only extra money that will be spend will be on books.
There are many nearby places for students to engage in. The nearest Central market is a little bit on a costlier side, but still many options are available. There are many markets for shopping, food etc.
Overall my experience was good. The college can improve a bit in it's infrastructure. The auditorium should be available as soon as possible. Wifi and canteen should be made available. Hostel facilities should also be there.
Hello,
NEET 2021 results have been declared by the National Testing Agency NTA.
To predict whether you will definitely get a seat in a college is an uphill task as cut-offs for colleges change every depending upon several factors such as-
• Number of applicants in NEET exam
• NEET question paper difficulty level
• Score of the candidates in NEET 2021 result
• MBBS/BDS/BAMS/BHMS seat matrix 2021
NEET 2021 Cut-off goes like :-
• General /EWS- 50th percentile
• SC/ST/OBC - 40th percentile
• General-PwD - 45th percentile
• SC/ST/OBC-PwD - 40th percentile

• OBC/SC/ST - 137-108
• Gen PwD - 137-122
• (OBC /SC / ST ) PwD - 121-108
Though it was expected that due to higher difficulty level of examination cut-off for colleges will decrease, but it turns out students have performed exceptionally well and the cut offs have increased compared to last year.
See it is quite difficult to help you with the exact list of colleges as the counselling is yet to be conducted and the cut-offs keep on changing every year.
According to previous year data available for All India Quota Counseling for colleges offering Homeopathic course, the cut off for Nehru Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital, New Delhi for General category was rank 61515 in round 3.
