The word "median" literally means the middle, so the term median package (salary) refers to the package that—if you list in numerical order all the packages for every individual placed—falls in the middle of the list of packages. Half the individuals on that list earns less than the median and half earns more. It is not the same as the average package, which is the figure you get when you add all of the packages together and divide it by the number of people placed.

According to me New Horizon college is better infact best when compared to GIT Belagaum as New Horizon has been ranked best college for placements and also is very good when it comes to the matter of studies.

As per the information available online NHCE is better than DSCE as it has better infrastructure in terms of labs and libraries. The college is very well equipped and have some really good teachers active in research and trending topics such as quantum computing,Data management, Microprocessors etc. NHCE's curriculum is very well balanced and is industrially applicable which enriches the possibility of students to get jobs. Also the placements are good but its similar to that of DSCE.

Hi, there are two shifts available at New Horizon College. Shift 1 is for students who have done their 12th and shift 2 is for students who have done diploma in the same field.
