Infrastructure is superb compare to other campuses in banglore .library is opened for 24 hours and all books are available .wifi net work is too slow some times it comes very fast. And hostel facilities are good but mess food is not good and not worthy also
I am pursing BE CSE 2ND YEAR the teachers are very friendly in nature they are help us when we can't do it. And video lecture are available and smart board classe are als available and our labs also use ful for understanding purposes.
Placements are good compare to other colleges and in our college my senniors are telling that that the minimum cgpa required is 6.5 cgpa to attend the placements and compare to other branches cse and IS,ece students are getting placed our clg highest. Package is 18L PER ANUM. average salary is 3.7L to 4.2 L PER ANUM
They are three types in all branches like global, professional, executive , global students fess is 2,3000 for professional it's 2 ,1500 for executive it's 200000. Ever year it will change and for kcet students it's different .for non kcet student its payment seat only .
It's superb
the college infrastructure is good. but everything is built closely. The campus area is too small (approx 10 acr). The college has all the amenities which are required for a graduation student. The college has good library which consists of almost 49,000 books (including magazines). The laboratories are well setup ed.
Academics wise the college is good. The teaches here are well qualified. They interact with the student in a friendly manner. I have taken B.E electronics and communication engineering. The reason why i took ECE in this college is because of the Autonomous system followed here. Every semester 3 internals and i semester send exam is conducted. The system here is quite different compared to VTU as this is an autonomous college..
The placement are very good in this college. Almost all of them will get placed. But that is applicable for only CSE and ISE students. The placements for ECE students arent that good. The placement rate for cse is 95% whereas for ECE and other branches it is around 60%-70%. The avg ssalary is around 3.5L.
Honestly the money payable by the management students is not that worthy. I payed around 6L including donation and hostel fee. tThe hostel fee is around 1.2L but that increases every year. if your coming through CET the fee isnt that high, but if your coming through management then the college will loot properly form you. The donation for ECE start 2L and goes to 6L sometimes. Last year the donation fwas 6.5L for ECE.
The campus life is good in this college. The college organizes many cultural programs every year, one such is sargam which is a biggest cultural fest bengaluru. The college has 4 canteens. canteens here are well maintained. The college is hygienic and it is green everywhere.
As i already told you the college fee is too high is you are coming through CET. If you are comfortable paying that much of fee then this is the best.
New horizon have a decent infrastructure. The college provides all the facilities which are required for a graduation student, but the campus is built in a small area (approx 11acr). The classrooms are very spacious and clean. The campus even have smart classrooms. New horizon has 6 hostels (3 boys hostels and 2 girls hostels). They are hygienic and well maintained. The college has god labs like cisco, adobe, hp etc. The college has indoor stadiums for badminton and basketball (outdoor too).
i am a B.E computer science student. I am currently in second year. Honestly telling you academics are good in this college. The lecturers are well qualified and has good experience in teaching. and also they interact in a friendly way. The college curriculum is also good but it is quite different compared to VTU as this is an autonomous college. Every semester the college you will have 3 internals and 1 semester end examination. The college has good labs and that is the reason why i took CSE.
Honestly, the college placements are very good. Around 90% of the student get placed in good reputed companies. The avg salary that the companies provide is 3.5lpa - 4 lpa. If you dont have any backlogs at the end of year year, i can assure you that you will be placed in some company. The college gives good placement training for the . The college conducts many hackathons that adds a good value to your resume. you will asked to do one mini project every semester which gives good experience.
if you are coming through CET the fee is 50k which is good but if you want to join this college through management then get ready to empty your dads pockets. if you want to opt for B.E CSE then the donation starts from 3.5L to 4L and goes till 10L. The normal college fee is 2,10,000 for professional and 15k extra for global which is not worth it. I recommend you to go with professional. The hostel fee is around 1.15 but that increases every year. In the 1st year i paid 8L and 3.5 from 2nd year.
The campus is clean and hygienic. it is all covered with tress and grass so it green everywhere. It is built in the middle of the city so transportation is not a problem. The college organizes good cultural events e.g. sargam which happens every year and it is biggest event in the city too. There are 3-4 canteens in the college and these are one of the good places in college to chill. The hostel mess isnt that tasty but the food quality is good (prepared by sodexo).
pros: good placement. campus life is good, have good labs, canteens, hygienic campus. cons: The fee is too high, small campus.
Yes, our college infrastructure, facilities, equipment is out standing. We have smart classrooms, full equipped laboratories. They give training for sports. They maintain clean. Wifi avilable in our college.
Iam studying 2nd year of Electronics and Communication department. They teach well and they even show it in practical way. They make us ready for job. They train students from 3rd semester for placements by technical aptitude classes.
Around 200 companies hire the students. Around 90%students were placed. 30lakhs per annum was the highest package. Electronics and communication branch. 15lakhs was the average salary offered. Yes the placement process wasn't easy but it's pleasent.
I paid 2,10,000 per year. Yes i feel getting my money's worth because they give placement training from 3rd semester by technical aptitude classes once in a week.
Students engage in many activities like they host hackathons and students participate actively and there will be club activities hosted by their own branches. Yes teachers support the students and the environment is awesome. It is safe and it even handle emergencies
I participated in some of the activities like brain games and treasure hunt.
Classes and all are ok but other places are not enough like ground and all. All classes are well equipped with projectors and all. For studying theres no problem just the area of college is quite small comparing with other colleges.
No doubts regarding acadamics . Classes are all well equipped with projectors and the class are wide enough able to hold students without any problem. Teachers here are nice and they will help you out anyway possible.
100% for CSE. Regarding the current trend more than 60 companies will be arriving to the college. Students are allowed to attend aptitude test and if particular student is capable enough despite of its studying year he can appear to the interview and rest is on his own hands.l
I dont have much to say about this
Totally waste. they are implementing dresscode for engineers
Overall its good
The college infrastructure is excellent. The facilities are really good. The laboratories are having well equipped equipments. The hostel are really good and the food in mess are hygienic and tasty. The overall campus is best.
The teaches teach well in the classes. The question papers will be of our knowledge and challenging. The study makes us job ready. I really liked studying in here. The curriculum is updated. And it helps one to improve their knowledge really well.
The placements here are good. Maximum of students get the placements. Students have to gain lot of knowledge from this college. The college is supportive. The students have to prepare well before attending the placements.
The college is worth paying that money. But students who put lot of money can join easily. The college costs lot of money. And i think money is lot that matters to join in this college.
Students here are good. faculty helps well. The attendance is really compulsory. Students who don't attend to classes, a message will be sent to their parents immediately . So,that students can't miss their classes.
Hello,
New Horizon College of Engineering is better for CSE.
The "NHCE" faculty offers strong educational content or resources.
Compared to other engineering branches at New Horizon College, CSE placement is by far the best. For placements, several firms come to campus. The student is given access to the placement drive in this case up to a year after graduation. Many core and non-core BPO organisations come here to hire new employees. The chosen candidates are also offered a decent package. Some of them are also subject to a 2- or 3-year bond.
Thank You
