Situated in Bilaspur, the state of Chhattisgarh, New Horizon Dental College and Research Institute was founded in the year 2004. It is an affiliated college granted with approval by DCI, and the campus area is spread over 7.89 acres. The institution offers a total of 8 courses in 2 degree programmes, with undergraduate and postgraduate studies in dentistry primarily being the toast of the institute. The institute has a total student enrolment capacity of 379, backed by a highly dedicated faculty of 65 members, thus providing the students with a good ratio for personal attention and guidance.

Undergraduate NHDCRI has an intake capacity of 100 students for BDS. At the postgraduate level, the institution offers MDS in seven specialities with an intake capacity of 3 students in each and 2 in MDS in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Specialisations in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics, Prosthodontics and Crown and Bridge, Periodontics, Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics, Oral Medicine and Radiology, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry are part of this course. The following courses are all full-time courses that aim to provide deep knowledge with practical skills in related dental fields.

NHDCRI grants admission based on merit that will be constituted subject to the guidelines laid by the regulatory bodies. For the BDS course, admission will be done primarily based on the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test scores. In the case of the MDS courses, NEET MDS is conducted as a qualification for the candidate seeking admission. The College follows the admission timeline declared by the respective Examination Authorities.
