Bachelor of Commerce is 3-year duration full-time course affiliated to Bharathiar University, Coimbatore.

The Department of Commerce came into being in the year 1968 to offer quality education in Commerce in this region. It has grown manifold and at present, it offers post graduate as well as research programmes leading to the Ph.D. Degree. The Department has now embarked upon new initiatives to have linkages with the corporate world for facilitating Institute-Industry tie-up. The Department is headed by Dr. P. Subramanian who has 30 years of teaching experience to his credit. Five of the faculty members are Doctorates, while the remaining five faculty members are actively engaged in research. Most of the faculty have teaching experience of around twenty-five years.

Eligibility Criteria

A pass in the Higher Secondary examination with the following subjects. Commerce, Accountancy, Mathematics, Statistics,Economics /Computer Science or any other examination accepted as equivalent thereto by the Bharathiar University.

Admission Details

Admission will be made strictly on the basis of merit as per rules stipulated by the Government and as per the rules of eligibility prescribed for the various Programmes by the Bharathiar University.
