Noorul Islam College of Dental Science is among the best dental institutions in the state of Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. For BDS Program:
1. The examination for NEET-UG by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
2. NEET-UG application process ordinarily begins on February 6 and ends on March 6.
3. Qualifying the NEET-UG, scores obtain the candidates above the cutoff range, will allow them into the BDS-mat program.
4. Enroll in the state counseling process or in the All-India Quota counseling according to the state government.
5. Report to Noorul Islam College of Dental Science in case a seat has been allotted to the candidate.
For MDS Programs:
1. Appear for NEET-MDS examination accordingly.
2. The period of application for NEET-MDS exists from February 17 to March 9 ordinarily.
3. It is required that the NEET-MDS be qualified, which is when someone is expected to earn outstanding scores beyond the cutoff.
4. Either the All-India Quota counseling or state counseling is required depending on which one seems applicable.
5. If selected to join, the student then goes ahead completing the admission procedure at Noorul Islam College of Dental Science.
Degree Wise Admission Process
BDS: The important undergraduate course offered in Noorul Islam College of Dental Science is the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS). Admission into the BDS course is based strictly on the NEET-UG examination. The gross intake capacity is 100, over a duration of five years.
MDS in Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics include The advanced treatment of dental and some aspects of root canal treatment. The selection of admission based on NEET-MDS. The duration of the program is for three years, with an intake of 2 for the program.
MDS in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics focuses on the specialized diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of malpositioned teeth and jaws. Admission to this MDS program follows the NEET-MDS pattern just as the rest of the programs. The intake is for 2 seats hence the duration is for 3 years.
