Recently founded in 2018, Nootan Homeopathy Medical College and Hospital at Sangli is a budding homeopathy college providing education in homeopathy in Maharashtra, India. sited in Landgewadi, Tal-Kawathemahankal the affiliated college has official recognition from the CCH which is the apex body for homeopathy education across India. Situated in 5 acres of land the institute is well equipped to create conducive environment for learning as well as practice. At present, it has a student population of 94 and a faculty population of 27; hence, the college enjoys a low student teacher ratio and is committed to provide quality education.

Nootan Homeopathy Medical College has facilities that are used to improve the student’s experience as well as providing a package education solution. These are adequately equipped laboratory for practical’s, library where all the requirement book are readily available and an Auditorium for academic and cultural performances respectively. The campus also has sporting amenities, a gym and a cafeteria; hence the students are given a chance to lead a balanced lifestyle. Somewhat, IT infrastructure allows students to remain connected, and gives students access to various forms of e-learning. To cater for the needs of those students who opt to live in the college, there are hostels for girls and boys each in an attempt to feel at home.

Nootan Homeopathy Medical College and Hospital have only one course which is the Bachelor in Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery [BHMS]. This programme is a six years full time programme that offers a comprehensive training in homeopathy. According to the college guidelines, the college admits a total of 60 students for this course to show that the college will provide quality education to its students through admitting fewer classes of students. BHMS programme has been developed to accomplish the course with competent homeopathic practitioners with adequate theory and practical knowledge.

The admission process in the Nootan Homeopathy Medical College and Hospital is almost on the basis of the NEET score. It presents a national written examination that ascertains tha students aspiring for the programme boasts an adequate background for the sciences before getting into medical school. The candidates who intending to take admissions in the related medical colleges must week up with the NEET exam schedule and the admission procedure.
