North Lakhimpur College, Lakhimpur Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

College has Boys' hostel. Seats are allotted at the time of admission on the basis merit. The students seeking hostel accommodation have to fill up a separate hostel admission form, which shall have to be submitted to the Principal within the allotted time. The number of seats in the boys' hostel is 96.

The college has a Girls hostel. Seats are allotted at the time of admission on the basis merit. The students seeking hostel accommodation have to fill up a separate hostel admission form, which shall have to be submitted to the Principal within the allotted time. The number of seats in the girls' hostel is 150.

The college has health centre with first aid facility for the students.

The college has a Gymnasium facility for the students.

The college has a library facility for all students.

North Lakhimpur College is well equipped with facilities required for indoor and outdoor sports activities of the students. It has developed a separate sports complex comprising of the Indoor Stadium, Basket Ball Court, Gymnasium Hall and the Sports Ground in a part of the college. The college has a big playground in between college building and the hostels. The playground remains fit throughout the year for all kinds of outdoor sports. Utilizing the facility the Cricket and the Football teams are consistently doing well in inter college meets of Dibrugarh University. Students regularly utilize the playground for athletic events and their performances are well reflected in different competitions. This ground is also used for some inter districts sports.

The college has excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students. A computer lab with 30 terminals including IBM server was established from the grants provided by NEC, Shillong. Another Computer Centre with 9 computers and IBM server in 2009 with the financial assistance from DST under FIST programme. The lab is now under control of the Mathematics Department. A computer lab is operating with 15 terminals which are sponsored by the Community of College System. A new networking Centre is launched with the financial assistance from UGCC under XI Plan in 2010. Students and Teachers can access the labs whenever required. Access is provided by producing ID cards in the Computer Center. The above network is connected to BSNL broadband Internet Connection.

The college has a well-maintained canteen, which is kept open to serve the students.

Rang-Ghar', the well-equipped auditorium of North Lakhimpur College(Autonomous) with a sophisticated sound system and electric generator facility has a capacity of 600 seats with gallery options available. Various cultural programmes and other activities take place throughout the year.

The college has a good networking for alumni association.

To equip with the changing digitalized and informative world, the College campus is enhanced with Wi-Fi and Internet facilities, which gives free internet access to the students anywhere within the campus. The internet connection of the college is connected with Lease Line form ERNET and BSNL.

The college has its own SBI Bank ATM Center within the campus, which provides the students, guardians, and teachers easy access to the bank transactions.

Stand shed of 200ft x 20ft area is also available for the use of students to park two-wheelers. There is also a facility for parking four-wheelers on the campus.
