Om Institute of Polytechnic, Hisar was established in the year 2011. It is a leading technical institution of the state, Haryana, India. This institute lies on the busy highway and is co-educational. The campus covers 5 acres with several courses offered in the diploma stream of engineering. AICTE approves this institute, and it aims to provide quality technical education to young budding engineers. This institute with a total student enrollment of 135 and faculty strength of 72 ensures a very favorable student–teacher ratio, highly conducive to an atmosphere of personalized learning and academic growth.

The institute's facilities also play an extremely important role in enhancing the overall learning experience among its students. Separate boys' and girls' hostels exist on the campus. Each hostel is well ventilated and possesses modern facilities in the form of desert coolers, geysers, and water coolers fitted with aqua guards. Added facilities for recreation in the shape of indoor and outdoor games, gymnasium, and television rooms have been provided. Special attention is given through the medical facility on campus manned by qualified nurses and visited by doctors on a regular basis. In addition, a fully air-conditioned library with a seating capacity of 250 students houses a collection of about 1000 text and reference books. Library that has also offered membership of DELNET (Developing Library Network) offers electronic resources, internet facilities along with much more magnified availability of resources to the students.

Om Institute of Polytechnic offers six fulltime programs as diploma programs that shall all take three years for completion. These programs shall cater to diverse fields of engineering that shall suit different interests and careers that students may want to pursue. The sum total of all these courses shall be an approved intake of 510, reflecting the capacity of the Institute to house a large number of would-be technicians and engineers.
