Sport and recreational activities are central to student life. The institute has facilities for indoor and outdoor sports. At Navi Mumbai, the D.Y. Patil Sports Academy Recreation and Sports Center which is managed by the Guild of Students, boasts of a multipurpose sports facility for table tennis, basketball, chess, and badminton. A 25-acre playing field on the western part of the campus provides space for a variety of sports. The Book-Bank facility is available for every student.

There are a number of computer laboratories and facilities on the campus for the students. The university also has a general computer laboratory which is open 24 hours a day for all students enrolled at the D.Y. Patil Group to have access to the internet. Separate Internet facilities for all computer is made available for the student; for unlimited download facilities.

The college has a canteen facility for staff and students.

A fully air-conditioned auditorium with a seating capacity of 750, has been acoustically designed by professionals. The auditorium also has the provision for Dolby sound system, green room, make-up room and orchestra pit. The Book-Bank facility is available for every student.
