The Panimalar Polytechnic Technical College was started in the year 1986 and it is one of the renowned technical colleges in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Located at Railway Colony 2nd Street, Aminjikarai, the 30-year-old co-educational institution is dedicated to moulding future engineers. Currently, PPTC occupies a total space of 3.3 acres, which provides a good environment for learning. It currently has a total student population of 1,479 and faculty of 61, which makes for a proper student-faculty ratio.
