Patna Science College, Patna was established in the year 1927. The campus spreads over 28.32 acres of land. Patna Science College is a constituent College of Patna University. The College was started as a part of Patna University as the Science Department. From the year 1928, the Institute started functioning independently. Patna Science College is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The College offers B.Sc. Honours in Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology.

The college has computer labs with internet access, helping students with assignments and research. Recreational facilities include sports fields and courts for games like cricket, football, and volleyball. Additionally, the college has seminar halls and an auditorium for guest lectures, events, and presentations. Basic student amenities such as a cafeteria, hostels for outstation students, and health facilities are also available. While the infrastructure is more traditional than that of private institutions, College also offers a functional setup well-suited to science education, fostering an environment of quality learning.
great academics but average placement
College Infrastructure
College has spacious classrooms and good computer lab but sports ground is very limited. The college provide hostel which is a positive point but I also felt that there was lack of maintainace. Library is okay.

College Infrastructure
The infrastructure of patna University is one of the best infrastructure. The college have very modern facilities, library well maintained classrooms, adavance computer labs and labs as well they are updating the structure.
