I would say no you wouldnt get a seat in civil engineering with that rank because they only accept 36 students into this branch through the PESSAT quota but you might want to try you're luck in the second round of counseling.

They both have almost the same ranking, and they both are decent colleges so no problems there, but you should try for even better colleges. From my knowledge, PESCE is the older institute and better recognised, so you should go for that, given the choice. PES is autonomous, so the general quality of the college is also nice. All the best!

Sorry to say Nikhil you can't get any seat through this rank in PES college of Engineering because your rank is very low as per according to PES college previous year cutoff even you can't the lowest branch of PES college through these rank, so find out other option too.

Congratulations on securing 14k rank in CET. Assuming you are from General category then if you apply to PES College of Engineering, Mandya Campus then you may get Industrial and Production Engineering, Electrical Engineering or maybe Automobile.
