Shri Jagdish Prasad Jhabarmal Tibrewala University, Pharmacy College, Azamgarh (PCA), was established in 1999. The college is situated in Itaura-Chandeshwar, Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh, and functions from a campus that is 3.25 acres large. It provides programs in pharmacy and is recognised and approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) for quality education. The institution has a total student enrolment of 461, with a faculty strength of 40, thereby maintaining a very favourable student-to-teacher ratio, which helps render personalised attention and foster academic growth. PCA runs 5 courses at 3 different degree levels, focusing on various aspects of pharmaceutical sciences and catering to the diverse needs of aspiring pharmacists and researchers alike.

The institution has quite a few amenities to enhance the learning experience and holistic development of students. The hostel facilities are separate for boys and girls and the rooms are well provided with furnishings including 24-hour power supply with common facilities like an LCD TV and indoor games. PCA has medical facilities that are all-inclusive; hence, it has tied up with the 300+ bed multi speciality hospital, Maha Mritunjay Hospital, for the healthcare and wellness of the students. The college library is a storehouse of information containing more than 36,000 books and a good collection of journals, magazines, and digital resources broadly in the field of Medical, Dental, Nursing and Paramedical Sciences. If one is sports inclined, then PCA provides facilities of athletics, volleyball, basketball, and indoor games to ensure our students lead a balanced life.

Pharmacy College, Azamgarh offers a variety of pharmacy courses to meet the diversified educational requirements and career aspirations. The institute offers 5 full-time courses under three levels, namely Diploma, Bachelor's, and Master's. The flagship program is Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma), whereby it has an intake of 100, and Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma) offers 60. At the postgraduate level, the college offers three specialised M.Pharma programs: Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacology, and Pharmaceutics, each to have 18 seats. The programs are structured in a way that they offer a detailed and skill full approach in all segments of pharmaceutical sciences.

However, the institute also conducts a test at the entrance level along with personal interviews for the admission of students to various courses. Admission to M. Pharma courses is done almost in the same framework.Students should therefore ensure that they check the eligibility criteria of each program before applying into their most desirable one. Even if the information is scarce on scholarships, the college needs to be providing a range of financial assistance to help deserving students.

Yes It has all necessary infrastructure and equipment various facilities common area have very good they prepare hygiene food in canteen decent facilities large auditorium having a seating capacity too much basket ball caurt

College campus is good but classrooms are not as much good as required and laboratories facilities are not good as needed and most of the facilities are available but some facilities are missing from the college campus.

Hello Dear,

Yes if you can do any of them at distance mode. As far I know D.pharm means diploma in pharmacy is a regular 2 years course for which one need to attend theory and practical classes regularly. You cannot pursue 2 Regular programmes in the same duration. As per UGC guidelines, you can do 2 different courses from 2 different universities in 2 different study modes (regular and distance).
