Pharmacy College, Azamgarh (PCA), is a renowned college that offers pharmacy courses. The PCI-approved college has a well-structured admission process that screens competent candidates for its courses. PCA offers courses at diploma, undergraduate, and postgraduate levels to suit the different aspects of pharmaceutical sciences.

The Pharmacy College, Azamgarh admission process generally aligns with the Uttar Pradesh university academic calendar. Although dates vary each year, the process usually starts in time periods after 10+2 result and entrance test notifications. For UG courses, the college places emphasis on the UPSEE conducted by AKTU (Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University) Lucknow mostly.

For admission on the basis of UPSEE:

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Pharma: PCA has 100 seats under the course of Bachelor of Pharmacy. The admissions are done mainly through UPSEE ranks. But for any balance seats remaining unattended under UPSEE, the college carries out its own entrance examination and interview. The candidate must be a pass student in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics.

M.Pharma: PCA has three M.Pharma programs with specialization in Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacology, and Pharmaceutics with 18 seats per program. Admissions are given on the basis of UPSEE or college entrance test and personal interview. The candidates should have a B.Pharma degree from a recognized university.

D.Pharma: Diploma in Pharmacy is having 60 seats. Though admission information of D.Pharma is not given, generally, 10+2 with science stream is mandatory. Contestants are required to present a state-level entrance exam or college own entry exam.

  • Graduation mark sheets and degree certificate (in case of candidates applying for admission in M.Pharma)

I am studying B. Pharmacy here to know about medicine and also to make a rajisterd pharmacist quality of teaching is good as most of the teachers are well qualified but the course curriculum is not updated and practical knowledge is missing.

Hello Dear,

Yes if you can do any of them at distance mode. As far I know D.pharm means diploma in pharmacy is a regular 2 years course for which one need to attend theory and practical classes regularly. You cannot pursue 2 Regular programmes in the same duration. As per UGC guidelines, you can do 2 different courses from 2 different universities in 2 different study modes (regular and distance).
