Piloo Mody College of Architecture, (PMCA) Cuttack is an architectural college in Cuttack establish in the year 1993. Being a co-educational institution, this college is affiliated to and approved by the Council of Architecture for the educational standards of architecture. Situated in a 2-acre campus, PMCA Cuttack, total number of students enrolled in this college is 546 and number of teaching faculties are 53 in total. The college currently has two degree programmes in architecture, undergraduate and postgraduate level. NAAC has accredited PMCA Cuttack and this serves the institution right in offering quality academic its academic programmes and achieving the. Right from its inception, PMCA, Cuttack has aimed and strived for academic standards and quality education in the faculty of architecture.

Piloo Mody College of Architecture Cuttack offers a number of amenities. The college provides different hostels for boys and girls respectively to provide a comfortable facility to out station students. A good library contributes knowledge that is vital and functional department laboratory offers practical learning. Cafeteria for snacks and a health centre which houses a basic first aid facility is still available in the campus. The institute provides two extensive course and official educational specialisations in the field of architecture for different levels of education. The B.Arch course is a Duration: Full Time, 5 Years course with 120 Intake of students. For the B. Arch, the institute has 63 seats, for B. Planning 50, for B. Tech in IEM 30 and for B. Tech in CE 30 For those planning to do executive studies, PMCA Cuttack has a part-time Master of Architecture Executive (M.Arch Executive) for which 20 seats are available and the course is of 3 years duration. Its goals are to give recipients such basic preparatory education to ensure the graduates potential of creating successful architectural careers.

Admission requirement at PMCA Cuttack is channelled towards achieving the admission of the most talented students for the institution’s courses in architecture. Admission to the B.Arch programme is done according to the candidate’s scores in NATA examination and JEE Main Paper 2. These national based exams determine the abilities and competencies requisite for proceeding to architecture. The M.Arch Executive programme takes into account performance in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE)/Post Graduate Admission Test (PGAT). PMCA Cuttack Admission

The college was having all the necessary facilities and infrastructure which make it a good college. The classrooms and hostels were of very good quality and properly maintained. The living spaces were clean and food was healthy and hygienic.

The college has spacious studios, all of which are naturally ventilated. We also had a large library where lots of books, magazines, and theses could be found for reference. We also had a basketball court where the students would indulge in either basketball or futsal.

Piloo Mody College of Architecture, Cuttack is one of the best Architectural Institutes of India and the placement of B.Arch is pretty good here. Companies such as Idea, BV Doshi, Architect Hafeez Contractor, CP Kukreja Associates etc recruit B.Arch Graduates from this college with an average package of 3 to 4 lpa. B.Arch graduates are hired under various job roles and sometimes the college does provide internships to its students in various organisations. The placement percentage of the college is pretty good. The eligibility criteria for admission in Piloo Mody college of architecture,cuttack is to pass 12th exam with atleast 50% aggregate marks and also 50% minimum aggregate marks in pcm and just to qualify JEE main exam or NATA.
Although there has been no official announcement regarding the cutoff still...with state quota with good percentile can easily get admission in PMCA,cuttack.
