Classically, in the form of PMCA Cuttack, Piloo Mody College of Architecture has gained prominence as that institution providing quality education in architecture. The college is affiliated to the Council of Architecture and follows the rigorous admission process for the selection of the most talented and deserving students. At PMCA Cuttack, admission is done on the basis of one criterion that is national level entrance examination based on admission into the courses. B.Arch admissions are depending upon NATA and JEE Main Paper-2 performance of the student. They are internationally recognized tests assessing the student's drawing aptitude, aesthetic sensitivity, and mathematical ability, all of which are essential to study architecture.
While the admission front for postgraduate courses varies, postgraduate admissions at PMCA Cuttack will stem from the GATE or PGAT admission test. For the M.Arch Executive program, entrance into the program will depend on performance in these two tests. So in general, the minimum eligibility requirements for undergraduates would thus be successful completion of the 10+2 examination from a Central or State board recognized.
