Pingla Thana Mahavidyalaya, Paschim Medinipur Admission 2025: Dates, Registration, Fees, Eligibility

BA (Honours): There is a BA (Honours) course in subjects such as Bengali, English, History, Philosophy, Political Science, Sanskrit and Education offered under Pingla Thana Mahavidyalaya. The admission for these courses takes place based on the marks percentages of the relevant subjects in the 10+2 examination.

B.Sc (Honours): The B.Sc Honours courses provided by the college include Botany, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Zoology, and Geography along with Economics. The admission for this course requires good performance at 10+2 level in science subjects with regard to specialization for higher-scoring students in the fields concerned

B.Com (Honours): Admission into the B.Com Honours in Accounting and Finance is awarded more to students of the commerce stream at the 10+2 level; however, considering overall performance in academics, students from other streams can also be assessed for admission.

MA: All postgraduate courses in MA offered from Pingla Thana Mahavidyalaya include MA in Bengali, English, and History. Admission to these courses is usually based on and determined by the performance of that individual at the undergraduate level with preference for individuals who did that subject at an undergraduate level.

M.Com: Like-wise, the college has this positive pride in saying that it would enable the M.Com program. A B.Com degree is all that it requires as a qualification for the application of the candidate to this program on grounds that selection is strictly made on grounds of performance in the B.Com program.
