Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) is a two-year full-time undergraduate course approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and offered by Ponnaiyah Ramajayam Institute of Science and Technology, Kumbakonam.


Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates with at least 45% marks in the Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree with at least two school subjects at the graduation level are eligible for admission.
  • Admission should be made either on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination or in the entrance examination conducted by the University.
  • There shall be reservation of seats for SC/ST/OBC, Handicapped, Women, etc. as per the rules of the concerned UGC.

Admission Details

Admission Shall be Made on merit on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or in the entrance examination or any other selection process as per the policy of the state government/U.T. Administration and the university.
