PR Engineering College, Thanjavur (PREC) is an emerging Engineering College of the year 2000. This affiliated college is set at Vallam, Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu, and has consistently served the students in the field of engineering education for more than two decades. Champions Group of Institutions campus is spread over 11.52 acres which offer a proper environment favorable to learning. It has got accreditation from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and it is also approved from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) which make PREC acclaimed for delivering quality education.

Amidst an impressive displays should be a litany of a well equipped college for the improvement of students’ experience. IELTS: 1050 sq.m, rich in various specialized subdivisions’ books, journals, and information technologies. For students living in the hostels, PREC provides different hostels for male and female students, the facilities include; internet throughout the compound, group sitting areas with television sets, reading sections, indoor games. PREC includes a verity of the engineering programs to provide the students with the field and interest of their choice. There are a total of 8 courses offered by the institute, spread across three degree zones: BE, ME, and PhD., with Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering as the most sought after courses among all courses. Also, it has more modern areas of study including the B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science which shows the college’s concern not only to cultivate new programs in response to the emerging market trends. With 307 student intake and 89 members in the faculty, the college offers the best to each of them to make sure that each students receives quality education.
