Prajyoti Niketan College, Pudukad Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college has a Library that offers students an excellent selection of Books, Journals, Magazines, e-information resources, CDs, and audio-visual aids with Internet facilities. The library has a total area of 4050 sq. ft and Eighty-two users can be accommodated in the library at a time. The Library has a collection of over 17,000 volumes and subscribes to prestigious journals and periodicals around the globe.

The college has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students. Language Lab. It is open to the students of all the other departments who wish to hone their communication skills and pronunciation especially while preparing for interviews and personality development sessions. Electronics Lab Students from the Electronics department use the facilities for their practical and project work.

The College has LAN and Internet connectivity, and 4 Mbps with Wi-Fi facilities are made available. 

The college has a Gymnasium that has been set up on the campus for the students. Separate timings are allotted for its use for boys and girls.

The college has facilities of the Computer lab utilized by different departments in the context of seminars and other orientation and awareness programs. Students from the Computer Science department use the facilities for their practical and project work.  

The college has a canteen within the campus that caters to the leisure-time needs of students.

The college has two hostels for girl students functioning inside the campus, of which one is run by Adoration nuns and the other, by the Manager. Both the hostels can accommodate 60 students each. The hostel that is run by nuns also provides accommodation to working women since there are not enough lodging facilities in Pudukad for women. Both the hostels are equipped with dormitories, single and double rooms, recreation halls, study halls, separate dining spaces for staff and students, visitors’ parlors, sick rooms, and warden’s rooms. 

The college has sports facilities for all the students.

The college has a convenience store facility for students. (like photocopying facility & stationery etc.).

The college has a good networking for the alumni association.

The college has et in an abundance of 7000 sq. ft. with a 500 nos seating capacity, the auditorium is equipped with light & sound facilities, a generator, projector, TV, and curtains (with music) opening up a scenic balcony view. 

The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students.
