Pramathesh Barua College, Dhubri, is an important college of Dhubri District established in the year 1964 at Gauripur, Assam. This is a co-educational, affiliated college offering undergraduate programmes in different streams accredited by NAAC. Spread upon a 4.5-acre campus, the student enrolment of the college is 930, where its faculty strength is 41.

Pramathesh Barua College provides modern teaching-aid facilities supporting and effective for learners. Students are also exposed to a well-stocked central library, containing nearly 30,000 books related to textbooks, reference books, and rare publications. A book bank and question bank facility are also provided for the benefit of meritorious students belonging to SC/ST and OBC categories.
