Diploma in Information Technology is a three-year full-time course offered by the Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education, Mumbai, and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

Eligibility Criteria

Admission to the first semester (first year)

The candidate must have passed the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary Education, Pune or any equivalent examination from any statutory Board of the State other than Maharashtra in General Science or Physics, Chemistry, Elementary Mathematics, or Algebra and Geometry, English from school recognized by the Government or Qualification Notified by Govt. of Maharashtra time to time.

At least 35 % marks in aggregate in SSC Exam for OC/BC/OMS candidates.

Direct Admission to Third semester (second year)

The candidate who has passed Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) Examination with vocational subject & physics, chemistry, and mathematics subject, from Maharashtra are eligible for Direct Admission to Third Semester (Second Year) Diploma Courses in the corresponding branches with Atleast 35 % marks in aggregate in SSC Exam for OC/BC candidates.
