To secure admission to the B.Sc. in Radiology program at PGIMS Rohtak for the academic year 2025, you'll need to follow a specific process that primarily revolves around an entrance examination. Here's a simplified guide:
Eligibility Criteria: First and foremost, ensure you meet the eligibility requirements. Generally, you must have passed your 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as compulsory subjects, securing a minimum aggregate score (often around 45-50% for the general category, with relaxations for reserved categories). Some sources also mention English as a compulsory subject.
Entrance Examination: Admission to the B.Sc. in Radiology program at PGIMS Rohtak is based on the merit list prepared from a Competitive Entrance Examination conducted by the Pt. Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak (UHSR). This university is affiliated with PGIMS Rohtak. The examination typically includes objective-type questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany & Zoology) of the Class 11 and 12 syllabus. There is usually no negative marking. The exact date of the entrance examination for the 2025 session will be notified on the official UHSR website.
Application Process: Keep a close watch on the official website of the Pandit Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences (uhsr.ac.in) for the admission notification. The application process is usually online. You will need to register on the admission portal, fill in your details, upload the necessary documents (like your Class 10 and 12 mark sheets, identity proof, etc.), and pay the application fee.
Merit List and Counseling: After the entrance examination, the university will release a merit list of the qualified candidates based on their scores. Successful candidates will then be called for counseling. During the counseling session, you will need to choose your preferred course (B.Sc. in Radiology in this case) and college based on the availability of seats and your rank.
Document Verification and Admission Confirmation: Once a seat is allotted, you will need to appear for document verification with your original certificates. After successful verification and payment of the admission fee, your admission to the B.Sc. in Radiology program at PGIMS Rohtak will be confirmed.
In summary, the key to getting admission is to meet the eligibility criteria, apply online within the stipulated time after the notification is released, prepare well and appear for the entrance examination conducted by UHSR, and then participate in the counseling process based on your merit rank. Regularly visiting the official websites of PGIMS Rohtak (pgimsrohtak.ac.in) and UHSR (uhsr.ac.in) is crucial for the latest updates and notifications regarding admissions.
I hope this helps.
If you've already secured admission in MDU Rohtak B.Pharm, it's generally considered a good option you can go for it their faculty and infrastructure are also good for pharmacy education.also it has good placement record.
It might be better than waiting for PGIMS Rohtak in the second counselling unless you have a strong preference for the PGIMS environment or specifically want a more clinical focus in your B.Pharm studies PGIMS, being a medical college, might offer more opportunities for hospital-based learning and internships.
So if you want to do research then go for MDU Rohtak but if you are into clinical aspects you should consider second counselling which is not certain.
Hello,
No, Neet is not compulsory for BPT course in PGIMS ROHTAK.
You must have received at least a 50 percent grade in your 12th-grade medical (pcb) class. Following that, you must register for the 180-mark CET admission exam. You were admitted based on the university cut-off list after the exam.
Thank You
