QIS Institute of Technology, popularly known as QISIT, is one of the premier institutes of education located in Vengamukkapalem, Ongole, Andhra Pradesh, and was established in the year 2008. This is a co-educational institute spread over 10.42 acres and an affiliated college imparting quality engineering education. The total enrolment of students is 1,251 with a faculty strength of 94. QISIT provides an intellectually stimulating atmosphere for academic excellence. The institute offers five B.Tech programmes, including specialisations in growing fields such as Artificial Intelligence, thereby suitably responding to the changing requirements of the technology world.
This modern physical infrastructure contributes numerous to the learning experience of QIS students. The separate hostels for boys and girls in Ongole town have all amenities within the campus with 24×7 security. The institute also has a well-equipped library that houses more than 13,000 volumes and more than 62 technical journals, thereby allowing the students and faculty to create a knowledge hub. Facilities such as Gymnasium, Sports facility, and full-fledged medical center with qualified doctors and nurses available at all times grace the campus. In the same way, QISIT facilitates a cafeteria that provides wholesome healthful meals, an auditorium for cultural and academic events/seminars, and also Wi-Fi connectivity throughout its campus.
The Institute offers five B.Tech. programmes at the undergraduate level, all full-time courses. It includes Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Information Technology, Civil Engineering, and Artificial Intelligence. All these programmes have an approved intake capacity of 360, except for 120 in the case of Computer Science and Engineering and for Electronics and Communication Engineering. The demands of well-active industry and development can be reflected with the focus of this institute in providing technical education for its courses.

QISIT admission is done in such a way that fact of the admission should be transparent and only on the merit basis of the students. Admissions to the institute are generally made through AP EAMCET. In accordance, the seats shall be classified into two categories: Category A, consisting of 70% of the sanctioned intake, and Category B, with the remaining 30%, shall be filled by the competent authority through an online admission procedure by the Government of Andhra Pradesh to have a two-way approach so that the student community would be diverse and merit worthy. QISIT developed a very active alumni network by establishing the QISIT Alumni Association in the year 2017.

Ongole's QIS Institute of Technology (QISIT) is one of the top engineering colleges in Andhra Pradesh with excellent education standards and state-of-the-art facilities. QISIT's admission process is totally merit-based and transparent so that the suitable candidates can fulfill their dream of becoming an engineer.
AP EAMCET is widely used by QISIT to admit candidates. The college adopts a two-category admission policy at the behest of the Government of Andhra Pradesh. 70% of the sanctioned capacity is occupied in Category A under the AP EAMCET counseling process conducted by the state government. Category B, or the remaining 30%, is covered by an online admission procedure conducted by the agency appointed by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
For eligibility, the applicants should have done 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as mandatory subjects. The percentage requirement can differ, but good percentage in these subjects and good rank in AP EAMCET is a requirement for sure to get admission in QISIT.
Application Procedure
The admission process for QIS Institute of Technology, Ongole, is primarily based on the AP EAMCET exam and the following counseling. This is the step-by-step procedure:
1. AP EAMCET Registration: The candidate must register and apply for AP EAMCET exam through the official website.
2. Entrance Test: Report on the date specified for AP EAMCET.
3. Results Announcement: Wait for the announcement of AP EAMCET result and rank list.
4. Counselling Registration: The shortlisted candidates should register for AP EAMCET counselling process.
5. Verification of Documents: Report to the document verification process according to the schedule published by the AP EAMCET authority.
6. Web Options: Upon verification, students are able to provide college and course preference via web options.
7. Seat Allotment: Seats will be allotted on the candidate's rank as well as on his/her preference.
8. Reporting at the Institute: When there is allotment in QISIT, candidates have to report to the institute with original documents and pay the fees as applicable.
Degree wise Admission Process
B.Tech: QISIT provides five B.Tech programs with a total intake capacity of 360 seats. All B.Tech courses have admissions accepted through AP EAMCET. The courses provided are:
1. B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering (120 seats)
2. B.Tech Electronics and Communication Engineering (120 seats)
3. B.Tech Information Technology (60 seats)
4. B.Tech Civil Engineering (60 seats)
5. B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence (number of seats not mentioned)
For all these courses, 70% of the seats are occupied by AP EAMCET counseling (Category A) and 30% by the online admissions process of the state government (Category B).
For Category B admissions (30% seats):
1. Online admission process will be published separately by the competent authority of the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
2. Candidates shall apply for Category B seats under this online process.
3. There will be choice provided on government and institute-formulated criteria.

As per your question, according to your question QIS Institute of technology have good infrastructure as well as an average placement packages as per their reviews. Many MNCs came as per recruitments. They have an average placements packages of 5 LPA and highest packages is of around 10 LPA. Companies like accenture, infosys, Amazon, IBM and etc came here for recruitment.

Closing rank in any college varies for each category and each branch. So, from the previous years' records of cut-off ranks in QIS, for general category, closing rank for B.Tech CSE is 1,04,584, for ECE 95148, for Mech 129677, for civil 132509 and for IT it is 127832.
