Established in 1929 in Meeret, Uttar Pradesh, Raghunath Girl's Post Graduate College is one of the prestigious women's institutions in the state. The college offers both undergraduate and postgraduate courses and is affiliated to Chaudhary Charan Singh University. It is an 'A' grade NAAC-accredited institute. It is spread over 2.95 acres of land, catering to 4,560 students and 106 faculty members.

Superior to all others, Raghunath Girl's Post Graduate College boasts it, stating that its facilities equal high-quality learning among its students. There is the three-floor girls' hostel, comprising 250 bedded spacious rooms, operational in the year 1961 and opened by none other than Dr. Rajendra Prasad, the first President of India. Equipped with modern facilities, the availability secures for every student a comfortable stay, especially for students coming from distant areas. The library is a powerhouse of knowledge with nearly one lakh books, 4,300 bound journals, and subscriptions to 89 Indian and International journals. 

Raghunath Girl's Post Graduate College offers a diversified range of courses in order to meet different academic interests. There are 39 courses offered by the college at different levels, for instance, bachelor, masters, and doctorate levels. Some of the main courses undertaken will be B.Com with Self Finance, B.Ed with Self Finance, BA, B.Sc in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry, and various MA programs in Political Science, Psychology, and Economics. Besides these, the college also gives other distinctive vocational courses like B.Voc Information Technology, Applied Clinical Psychology, and Yogic Science.

Admission to Raghunath Girl's Post Graduate College for all classes is made on the basis of merit, subject to the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and entrance test. For B.Ed. classes, admission is made according to the policy of the State Government/U.T. Administration and the University. The college shall be following a full admission procedure that shall carry out equal opportunities to all eligible candidates.
