Rajasthan Dental College and Hospital (RDCH) Jaipur is recognized as one of the best dental colleges, affiliated with Rajasthan University of Health Sciences and recognized by the Dental Council of India (DCI). The college conducts BDS and MDS courses in dentistry and ensures competent candidates through a stringent selection process.
The admission procedure of RDCH is mostly based on entrance exams at the national level. In the case of BDS, admission is based on the NEET-UG test conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE). This common examination enables the competent selection of students all over the country in the dental education program of RDCH.
The MDS tests act as the entrance examinations for various postgraduate courses, and NEET-MDS is also being conducted by the NBE. Application Process

For BDS Program:
1. Qualifying in NEET-UG examination conducted by the National Board of Examinations.
2. Register for counseling as per the procedure laid down by the state or central counselling authorities.
3. Give preference to RDCH along with the BDS program in the counselling process as per the eligibility of the NEET-UG score.
4. If a seat in RDCH has been allotted to the candidate, he/she shall complete the admission formalities, including document verification and fee payment.
For MDS Programs:
1. NEET-MDS examination must be conducted by the concerned authority.
2. Register for the counselling process as directed by the competent authorities.
3. Select RDCH and the MDS specialization of choice during the counselling process on the basis of the NEET-MDS merit.
4. If a seat is allotted, report to RDCH for the document verification and completion of admission procedure.
Degree wise Admission Process
BDS(Bachelor of Dental Surgery): BDS at RDCH has an intake of students allowed and approved for 100 students. Admission to the BDS course is based on the candidate's performance in the NEET-UG examination. Eligibility criteria include completion of the 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as compulsory subjects. The course lasts for five years, where a firm foundation is laid in dental sciences.
MDS(Master of Dental Surgery): MDS courses are available at RDCH in multiple specializations, with three students allowed in each specialization. The admission procedure for the MDS Courses is the same, and students are admitted on the basis of their NEET-MDS ranking. The specializations are as follows:
1. Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics
2. Prosthodontics and Crown and Bridge
3. Periodontology
4. Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
5. Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics
6. Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry
