Rajasthan Engineering College, Dausa (REC Dausa) is one of the emerging colleges founded in 2010 located in the arguably red heart of Rajasthan. This affiliated college is situated in Somnath Nagar, Ganesh Pura Road, Dausa; the college has been the pioneer in providing engineering education for a decade now. REC Dausa, which is an institute of-campus of Rajasthan Technical University, has a limited campus area of about 2.29 acres to provide a 100 percent devoted study ambiance for its 440 sanctioned enrolment students. The college currently has a committed team of 67 members of the faculty so that students get the attention and quality education they deserve.
It is important that at REC Dausa, students receive a range of facilities that help in the overall social, academic, and physical development of the students. A resource center—the college library with over six thousand books, e-journals, and fifty-five major technical magazines. Less and less does it look like a database of information and more and more, it is a place that fosters exploration. The state-of-the-art computer laboratory with all modern software and hardware is also established as students get first-hand experience of modern technologies. For the college residents, there are single-gender, fully furnished hostels to house 200 students each in well-fitted double/triple-bedded rooms. It is complemented by impressive conditions such as air-conditioned places, demanding canteen and mess service, and recreational spaces. This college also focuses on students’ health and they even have a dispensary and a dental care unit in the college but if a student needs more serious medical attention, there are nursing homes around.
Due to this, the academic programs of REC Dausa have been designed in a way that they address increasing needs in the field of engineering. The institute offers full-time 5 courses, including 3 B.Tech. and 2 diploma courses. Its offered B.Tech programmes exist in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering, and Diploma in both Civil and Electrical Engineering.

B.Tech Electrical Engineering | 120 |
Diploma in Electrical Engineering | 120 |
B.Tech Civil Engineering | 90 |
Diploma in Civil Engineering | 60 |

The admission policy of REC Dausa is very fair and smooth so that every candidate can intake engineering course with no hassle. For the B.Tech programmes, the admission process is through the All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE), renamed now as JEE Main. This all-India level test checks students’ proficiency in physics, chemistry, and mathematics and is the entrance to undergraduate engineering courses in India.

Dear student,
When the conditions will start coming back to normal, then only we can expect the colleges and hostels to reopen. We all know that in a hostel, there are common eating areas, washrooms, a single room is to be shared by 2-4 students, so in such cases it will not be safe to reopen hostels. Also students will not follow the covid measures strictly, that's why the authorities are trying to delay the reopening of colleges and schools. Once the vaccination process is successfully implemented then only we can hope for reopening of schools and colleges.
Hello!
Yes, Students from other states can also apply for admission process (REAP). However, state government reservation policies do not apply to these students.
