Rajeev Gandhi memorial teacher’s training college started in 2009 is a premier college rendered in Dhanbad, Jharkhand. This co-ed college in a 2-acres area primarily focuses on producing educators of tomorrow. NAAC accredited institution that functions with NCTE (National Council for Teacher Education) approval. Rajeev Gandhi Memorial Teacher’s Training College teaches three regular courses in teacher training programme. These include the Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed), Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) and Master of Education (M.Ed) programmes which take two academic years each. The programmes include D.El.Ed, B.Ed, and M.Ed programmes and as approved by NCTE the total intake capacity of D.El.Ed is 100 each while the intake capacity of M.El.Ed has not been predefined. All programmes are intended for the acquisition of professional competencies in the teaching-learning process as well as in educational leadership for successful teaching practice.
