Rajiv Gandhi Polytechnic, Musafirkhana, Amethi, Uttar Pradesh is an affiliated Institute which ensure proper technical education. The year of establishment is not readily given, but the institute has well developed itself in the offering of diploma programmes in engineering. Some of the offered diplomas are Diploma in Civil Engineering, Diploma in Electrical Engineering and Diploma in Mechanical Production Engineering. The Civil and Electrical Engineering programs for instance take 120 students each sitting while the Mechanical Production Engineering takes 60 students per year. These diverse courses can be of interest in a wide area of engineering knowledge and skills which are needed in the contemporary industrial world.

Rajiv Gandhi Polytechnic utilizes UP JEECUP, Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination Polytechnic as the main requirement for admission into its Polytechnic program.
