see I assume after taking admission in lateral entry scheme you did not studied, and did not give your 3rd semester exam, see its not possible to upgrade to 4th semester with out qualifying in 4th semester. so you need to think whether you want to pursue btech or not, if you want complete your course , make contact with college and fill the formalities.
