The Ramgarhia College of Education for men situated at Phagwara is one of the premier institutions established in 1956 for preparing teachers to teach in schools in the state of Punjab, India. Over all this college is co-educational college which is located at Satnampura, Phagwara affiliated to University System and is approved by NCTE/NC/0145/2010 under National Council for Teacher Education. The college has received its accreditation from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), in regard to quality assurance of the college. Located in 2.73 acres of area Ramgarhia College of Education provides two streams of Education degree course having 257students enrolment capacity and 14 faculties.

There are a number of infrastructures offered in the The Ramgarhia College of Education for men, performance as well as developmental for the learners. The library an essential focal sector of any university, contains an extensive variety of literature embracing books, periodicals, and references, designed to accommodate up to seventy readers at a time. It adopts an open – access policy that enhances easy access to knowledge for the students and staff. Ramgarhia College of Education offers two full-time courses. A Bachelors of Education B.ED and Masters of Education M.ED programme. Both of them take two years to finish and give a proper knowledge of educational theory and practice. Baresi to these two specific courses, the college is able to offer immense concentration towards offering well trained educators at both the under graduate and post graduate levels.

The admission procedure of RCoe Ramgarhia however differs with respect to the course that a candidate wants to undertake. In case of the B.Ed programme the admission is made based on the merit of the qualifying examination.
