Admission into these courses is on the basis of the merit list prepared from the 10+2 relevant subject marks. The number of students admitted in B.Sc Zoology (Hons) is 60.
M.Sc Programs
The college offers M.Sc courses in Environmental Science, Botany, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, and Zoology. Admission to these courses is generally on the basis of marks obtained in the respective bachelor's degree. For M.Sc Environmental Science, the intake capacity is 30 students.
B.Ed Program:
Ranchi College offers a B.Ed course with an intake strength of 100 students. B.Ed admissions may be done taking into account marks obtained in corresponding entrance examinations based on NCTE norms.
BA Courses

Faculty is great and help students to take part in academic events. They focus on grooming students in academic and other carricular activities. So basically in academic section it's really excellent.
The teachers out here are well qualified and are PhD holders. Some of them are qualified with MBA degree and some are qualified with different normal colleges. The curriculum is updated and has well developed science labs.
I have completed my B.A. (English Honours) course at the college. The teachers are friendly, and their teaching pedagogy. Yes, we have done seminars in our department one is skill-enhanced development. I think I can do my best in my field so that I can be job-ready. In our college, there are many different departments like BCA, FD (Fashion Designing), B.Sc., and many more so that you can be ready for your future.
Yes ofcourse you can. For all those who have done diploma course in any course of engineering there is an entry to get admission directly into the second year which is called Lateral Entry. Most of the engineering colleges allow lateral entry .while some conduct exam for it most of them take admission on cut off merits. So yes you can do graduation through the diploma course
