Raniganj Girls College, Burdwan Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The College has Girls Hostel of Raniganj Girls' College named "Maitree" was inaugurated on 28^th February 2014 and became functional in the academic year 2017-18. The hostel has a capacity for housing26 borders. The hostel is administered directly by the Principal of the college with the help of a resident Hostel Warden and the Hostel Committee.  

The College has a Medical facility. All students of College are eligible for medical treatment (including medicine) offered by the student's health home at nominal costs. The student's health home has a center at the college. The NSS units also organize health check-up camps for the students of the college a couple of times a year.

The College provides an extensive library and a range of information services to support it. Classroom learning and enable students to study more effectively. Apart from textbooks, the Library has got reference books on every subject. Besides catering to the needs of the Honours students, the library can provide ample opportunities to those who intend to carry on higher research in some subjects.

The College Has 3 Big Playgrounds With Special Facilities For Games Like Basket Ball, Volley Ball, Badminton, Football, And Cricket. Not Only It Is A State-of-the-Art Infrastructural Facility, But Also Is A Unique Architectural Presence That Has Provided Student With Opportunities To Harness Their Acumen In Diverse Sports Activities. The Students Regularly Participate In District, College, University, And State Meet In Different Events Bringing Glory To The Institution.

The college boasts of a well-equipped Computer laboratory with desktop computers and internet connectivity.

The College has Canteen of the college is a spacious area located on the ground floor with an attached kitchen and seating arrangements made for students as well as the staff of the college. The canteen is open during college hours and provides snacks, refreshments, and lunch to the students and the staff at affordable prices.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

The college has a good networking for the alumni association. In the silver jubilee year an Alumni association, "Bandita" has been formed to strengthen the familial bond between the students who pass out and their alma mater.

The College has laboratory-based departments of college have well-equipped laboratory facilities. These facilities are availed by the students to perform experiments in their practical classes under the guidance of their subject teachers.
