Degree Wise Admission Process

B.Sc. Programs: Rayat Bahra University, School of Medical and Allied Sciences, offers many B.Sc. programs, including Medical Lab Technology, Medical Microbiology, Radiology and Imaging Technology, Optometry, Dialysis Technology, Operation Theatre and Anaesthesia Technology, Cardiovascular Technology, Medical Records Science and Health, Anatomy, Physiology and Biochemistry, Information Technology, Perfusionist, Forensic Science. The admission process for the programs is based on the 10+2 qualifications in the science stream. The seat intake varies from 30 to 60, depending upon the program.

BPT (Bachelor of Physiotherapy): The BPT program has 60 seats for admission. Candidates must have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

BOT (Bachelor of Occupational Therapy): Offering 30 seats, eligibility for BOT requires completion of 10+2 in science subjects.

M.Sc. Programs: Various M.Sc. programs are offered, such as Radiology and Imaging Technology, Dialysis Technology, Operation Theatre and Anaesthesia Technology, Histopathology, Clinical Microbiology, Forensic Science, Medical Lab Technology, Haematology, Clinical Biochemistry, Anatomy, Physiology, Clinical Embryology and Reproductive Genetics. These programs normally require a relevant undergraduate degree in order to be considered for entry. The seat intake for each program is usually 30.

MPT (Master of Physiotherapy): MPT courses are given in Sports Physiotherapy, Neurology, and Orthopaedics, each having an intake of 10-30 seats. A BPT degree holder is eligible for the admission.

MPH (Master of Public Health): Admissions into the MPH course are available for 20 seats. Relevant bachelor degrees in health sciences are likely to be a requirement.

Ph.D. Programs: The doctoral programs offered are Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology, Nutrigenetics, Clinical Embryology, Stem Cell, and Regenerative Medicine. Generally, a master's degree in the field of his interest is the pre-requisite for admissions.
