However, some basic etiquette can make your hostel life a memorable experience on the RCPIT campus. There are two hostels for boys. The hostels are situated within the Institute campus. The hostels will be shortly provided with an Internet connection through the optic fiber network. The hostel mess with a large seating capacity caters to nutritious and delicious fare at very reasonable rates.

The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students.

The college library is the place where new ideas are generated and visions are broadened. The institute has a provision to include mandatory library hours in the timetable so that the students spend ample time in the company of books and recent technical journals. The institute’s central library covers a ground area of about 612 sq. Mr. with a seating capacity of 200 students. The interior of the library is well furnished with ergonomically designed seating arrangements. The library is divided into; 170 sq mtr. reading zone, 325 sq. meters. stacking area and 117 sq. meters. issuing area. The library is sufficient to a large extent and covers 25821 books' collections and 102 National Journals and Magazines pertinent to the courses offered by the Institute. The students can also access journals and magazines through the magazine zone available in the library.

The college has sports facilities for all students.

The college has a modern computer center occupying an area of 300 sq. Mr. serves as a central facility for all the departments. The Center comprises a server room having eight servers, two IBM servers for the database, a Web server, a Linux server, a Library server, and a Domain server. All the terminals in the center and computer Labs are connected through high-speed networking with Lucent Technology and 3-COM switches and are certified by AVAYA, a US-based company. A Firewall unit also exists for monitoring and controlling network traffic. All the terminals are provided with Internet connectivity by BroadBand with a capacity of 40 Mbps with 1:1. 100 Computers connected with 155+20 Mbps. Apart from all licensed software, the center is also equipped with visual aids like LCD projectors, OHPs, Colour printers, Scanners, Digital webcam, etc.

The college has a canteen facility for staff and students.

The college has a fully air-conditioned auditorium with a seating capacity of over 300 audiences and serves as an excellent hall for seminars, guest lectures, technical paper/project presentations, and screening of informative educational movies. The auditorium is supported by a very powerful audio system, LCD projector, and comfortable seating arrangement. There is a sound collection of CDs, DVDs, and CBTs.

The college has good networking for the alumni association.

The college has Wipro Technologies established the prestigious Mission 10x Technology Learning Centre called MTLC at R. C. Patel Institute of Technology, Shirpur. R. C. Patel Institute of Technology, Shirpur is now Authorized Mission 10X Technology Learning Center powered by Wipro Technology, Bangalore. Under this project center, Wipro Tech will train the RCPIT faculty of Comp/IT and E&TC dept at their training center in Bangalore also they will have time to time to provide training and knowledge sessions through webinars to Faculty. Automotive Electronics Medical Electronics Mobile & communication networking Industrial Automation etc.

The college has guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.
