In 2018, under State Quota, 469 marks secured a seat in Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya Medical College under General Category. That was the cut off for Government Medical Colleges. 335 is too less score for a seat in a Government Dental College as well. But you might get a seat in Ayush Courses. Having said that, cut offs change every year and are dependant on various factors like no.of seats available, no.of candidates appearing for the exam, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. You can check the cut offs of various colleges at:

Hello,

As you have mentioned that your neet score is 153 marks under Open category. The cutoff for this year to get a government medical college is about 490+ marks. For OBC category candidates, one need to score at least more than 450 marks to get a government medical college for BAMS and BHMS like courses.

As you have prescribed that your family's annula income is 377000 which is < 8 lakh and with your category you might have ews reservation. So, in Gujarat 10% quota is reserved for the ews category.

However, you have good chance to get a seat under ews quota.

I hope this would help you. For further queries please feel free to write me down in the comment box.

BAMS - 440+ for Government colleges 400+ for Semi Government and 350+ for Private

Hey,

The marks secured are really low in comparison to the cut off marks of this year. The cut off marks will be higher than previous years. So there are negligible chances of getting admission in a government college for MBBS or BDS courses even if you have reservation. Check the college predictor to know about the probable colleges you might get admission in.

All the best

Hey,

Your chances are low for getting admission in a government college for BAMS course in the first counselling. Moreover you are from unreserved category and would require somewhere around 420+ to get a government college. You may wait for the second and third counsellings results or try for private colleges instead. Hope this helps.

All the best

Hello,
Yes with this mark ,you have good chances of getting a bams government seat.
The expected cutoff marks for admission into bams courses for general category students is around 300 for private colleges it's around 250.since you are from maharashtra so you are eligible for 85% state quota .It increases your chances of getting a government college in maharashtra effectively .cutoffs vary from college to college. The cutoff changes almost every year,so not much can be predicted .cutoff depends on the difficulty level of the paper and the number of students who appeared for the entrance exam.Anyway You have scored enough to get a government seat for bams course.
Just browse the link given below to predict some colleges which you might get.http://www.medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor

Dear aspirant ,

The competition is getting difficult each year the cutoffs increases every year due to increase in competition and number of applicants .This year its 533 the opening marks for getting government mbbs seat (general category).

Im sorry to mention that 249 is  less to get into a government college for any of the courses be it mbbs, bds or bhms or bams .

You can give it another try or try to get in through paid seats or management quota.

Dear Prem, 505 is a decent score for General Category. If you are enquiring about All India Quota, then it is tad difficult. But if you are enquiring about State Counselling, it totally depends on the State you hold domicile of. In certain States like UP and Punjab this score can get you a seat in a Government Medical College. But in States like Rajasthan and Delhi, this is quite a less score and you might only get a seat in Private Medical College. But with this score irrespective of your Category, you can get a seat in a Government Dental College. To know your chances in All India Counselling, log on to the website, go to home page, and go to medical counselling. Open Undergraduate and open composite list. From the information present there you will see you will get an idea of the pattern of previous years. It is also available in downloadable pdf format. This list will have Closing and Opening ranks along with Category ranks too. This will give you an idea of which colleges you might have a shot at. If you want to check your options in State Counselling, please do let us know your State. You can also use our College Predictor services to check your options:

Hello,
As you have mentioned that your neet score is 505 marks, you haven't mentioned your category. Nevertheless, looking previous year's cutoff trend for bams you can easily get admission in bams in government medical colleges nad private medical colleges . 480+ marks for general category and 450+ marks for SC/STwould easily secure a seat in government medical colleges.
So, feel free!!! You will get the seat.
I hope this would help you. For further queries please feel free to write me down in the comment box.
