Hey,

It all depends on you as to which course you wanna pursue. After doing BAMS , you can only practice ayurvedic medicine. And as you know, ayurvedic medicine isn't that popular in our country now. So BAMS and BHMS have low importance in the world of healthcare. Also BDS has its cons too. There are too many dentists but the no. Of posts for dentists in any hospital is Hardly 1 or 2. Now it depends on you which course you can take up.

And as per the marks you have secured, if you are from general category, you won't get any good college for BDS. You can check from the College predictor to know about the probable colleges you might get admission in.

I hope this would help you. For further queries please feel free to write me down in the comment box.

Hey,

With this marks it will be very difficult for you to get a admission in government Colleges for BAMS or BHMS course. Because this year's cut off marks are higher than previous years. For government colleges you would require a minimum of 350+. Still you can wait for the second and third counsellings results.

All the best

Hello dear student, it's been just a year when NEET started taking students for bhms and bams too. So it's difficult to predict marks right now. But looking at last year's cutoff list for bams you need to have Atleast 350+ marks as you fall under category. So with this much marks it's not possible to get a seat . But don't loose hopes there is possibility that you may get seat . I hope this was helpful.

Dear Student,

  • As you have scored 98 Marks as your NEET SCORE is considered extremely poor and as you can observe that you could not make it to the cutoffs for this year.
  • Thus, you have not qualified in NEET 2019 as you did not make it to the cutoffs, in other words, YOU HAVE FAILED IN NEET EXAM.
  • Please Consider this as to note that sadly you have not qualified.

NEET 2019 Qualifying Cutoff:

  • UR: 134 to 701
  • UR-PH: 133 to 610
  • SC: 120 to 133
  • SC-PH: 107 to 133
  • ST: 120 to 133
  • ST-PH: 107 to 133
  • OBC: 120 to 133
  • OBC-PH: 107 to 133

Conclusion:

  • Therefore, as for your question, the answer is No, you can not get admission in any type of college legally in India but you can try abroad as some countries just require you to just appear in one and some do not require NEET altogether.
  • Because 98 marks do not even qualify you for the medical courses provided by NEET then how can you be able to get BAMS in SC Category.
  • You can opt abroad or try even harder next time or you can even try for Private institutes.

4. Clinical Coder

5. Cell Geneticist

6. Cytotechnologist

7. Diagnostic Medical Radiographer

8. Diagnostic Medical Sonographer

9. Ecologist

10. Dialysis Therapy Technologist

  • Do not lose hope, these are just 10 but there are many more opportunities waiting just for you.
  • If you need any other information or if you have any other doubts, issues, problems, queries or questions about Career, NEET, Admission and verification Process; You just need to ask us a simple question as a separate query.

Hi Savita

Firstly congratulation for your result, you have scored really good marks. You have good probability ofgetting admission in BAMS govt. medical college as for Cutoff of GOVERNMENT COLLEGES range in 400+ for OBC.Fees is lowest in range of 20000.

Hope this helps you

All the best!

Hello Rahul, No, 64 marks in NEET is not enough to land you a seat in any of the B.A.M.S colleges anywhere in India. You might need to go for management quota seats in this case because you need at least 300 marks in order to have a decent chance of getting admission in BAMS course in UP.

Hey,

You didn't mention your category here and also your all India rank. If you are from general category, it is almost impossible to get a government BAMS college. If you are from Reserved categories, chances are low. You can still wait for the second and third counsellings results.

All the best

Hi KrishnaPriya,

If you got a rank below 2000 in the KEAM ranklist for admission to BAMS courses, then you can easily get into a good college. For BHMS courses also, you need a very good rank like 2000  or below.

There is also another way through which you can get in the colleges for your desired courses.

Score good in NEET, and if you have a category reservation, then it will help you.

Hope it helps.

Good Luck!!

Hello aspirant,

With this score it's too difficult to get a seat in government college for any branch. But you belong to the SC category so you can give a try for BAMS. You can try in private colleges also as you have more chances of getting seat there. So do try accordingly. I cannot tell the exact colleges you can get as the cutoff varies every year. But you can use our website's college predictor tool to have a look which colleges you can get based on your rank and score.
