Hey Yadagiri

You need a minimum of 500+ if you are from unreserved category or else 400+ for reserved category to get a government seat at bams or veternary seat. You may look for some private institutes which might cost you a lot. So I would suggest you that if you are willing to get a seat in this stream only and if you can work hard then dropping a year is not a bad idea. Work hard and give your best the next time to grab this opportunity . You may also look for some good BSc options also.

All the best!!

Hey there, you have scored 42 percentile in NEET and you also belong to the OBC category. Really that will be very helpful to you while taking admission in Government College as some special seats are being reserved for each and every special reserved category. Sorry to say but this percentile is very low for taking admission in any good college as cutoffs are very high this year and moreover your marks are quite low for that. I would suggest you check for government colleges, semi-government colleges, and even some good private colleges too in your state as you can get a seat in reserved quota too.

 I would personally suggest you use the NEET Predictor and explore various colleges according to your category and home state quota and choose the best one for you as this college will be your future lifeline.

Hi, Akshay.

Neet is an all India common entrance examination for the medical aspirants to get into the undergraduate courses in both government and private colleges.

The admissions into bams colleges in maharashtra is of three types

* Government

* Semi government

* Private

For government colleges,  the cutoff marks are between  380 to 430

For semi government colleges, it is more than 360

For private colleges, it is more than 330

You can easily get into the government colleges semi government colleges and private colleges in pune.

Goodluck

Hello RAMA

There is less chances of getting BAMS government college in general category at 374 marks, but you should go for counseling.

Don't forget to try for state level BAMS government colleges. As there is more seats for comparitly less candidates so i may help.

Registration for counseling doesn't mean that you can't prepare for your next year examination.

If you are fortunate to get a seat in government  BAMS college then it's worth to go through counseling , otherwise preparation  or to take admission in  other courses are better options for you.

Hello Aspirant
Your Neet score is very low you can't get government bams college .
Thanks

Hello Aspirant,

BAMS Admission is through the state counseling Authority on the basis of NEET score. It would be difficult to tell you the exact as cutoff varies to the states & Colleges. If you specify the particular college or state then I can help you about.

Good Luck!

Dear Candidate,

The cut off trends vary every year.Hence, its a bit difficult to predict the same when the cutoffs are expected to rise. However, through state quota the Cutoff for BAMS government colleges (SC quota) till last year generally ranged between 280-300+. A score above 350 would be safe and would help you get a seat in a renowned medical college for BAMS.The cutoff for private colleges goes down to almost 250 (SC quota).

Hello,

You have good chances in BAMS,but low chances in BDS through your state quota seat in government medical college.Take part in the counseling,see what happens.

All the best for your future.Hope I have resolved your query.

Hello Adnan,

The 2019 cut-off has not been declared by the colleges yet so it is difficult to predict the exact cut-off, however we can get a rough estimate from previous years' cut-off trends.

You haven't mentioned the category that you belong to so I'm assuming that you belong to the general category.

With 293 marks, it is almost not at all possible for you to get admission in government colleges for BAMS. If you check the 2018 cut-off, you will find that the general category students' cut-off was around 420 marks and that for SC/ST/OBC was around 400 marks.

You should opt for private colleges that offer BAMS as there you will have chances of admission. The fees will be higher but you will not have to drop a year.

Hope this helps.

Yes, its an autonomous body of the government of Uttarakhand. For all India 15% quota to be eligible in Bams to get asmissions you need to hold good rank as well. No good rank and just depending upon the quota won't help. However you can wait for the counseling sessions to get a clearer picture. Good luck!
