Hello,

Admission to BAMS is based on marks in NEET exam.

Cutoff is based on No. Of factors.

Type of College - There are 3 types of Colleges for BAMS

1) Government - Cutoff of GOVERNMENT COLLEGES range in 420+ for General Candidates and 400+ for OBC.Fees is lowest in range of 20000

2) Semi - Government - Cutoff for this type of Colleges are somewhat lower and fees is higher than government in range of 4050000. Its Cutoff is 400+ for General Candidate and 360+ for OBC.

3) Private - Now this is the most variable type of cutoff. As Colleges with low fee tend to have higher Cutoff and high fee college has low cutoff. Fees is in range of 13 lakh per year. Cutoff is in range of 300+ for General and 280+ for OBC.

So, looking over the cutoff your chan e to get bams or bhms is government medical colleges is negligible.

I hope this would help you. For further queries please feel free to write me down in the comment box.

Hii Aspirant

Iam sorry to say this but with this score it is highly impossible to get admitted into any of the college.

I would rather suggest you to appear for NEET once again next year with much more preparation.

Hope the details were helpful

Hey,

Yes you have Chances of getting admission in few colleges for BAMS course although you won't be getting a government college. You will manage to get a private college because of your category. Because this year the cut off marks are higher than the previous years. So that makes your admission difficult. Hope for the best.

Thanks.

Dear aspirant
Well you have given mhcet examination  ie. Maharashtra common entrance test  which is a state
Government exam done by the maharashtra government.
So if you are looking for government ayurveda college  through mhcet
Then yes you can try for it.
It will ranges from  many courses  ayush
Education is  one of them.
All the best
Thankyou

Dear aspirant  !
Well if you are looking for government ayurveda college then yes you can try for it.
Because 356 is fine marks

Although you are belonging from obc category also so your chances are quite fair.
But one thing that we cannot ignore  that the cutoff level goes unpredictable  this year
As the cutoff goes higher than last year.
So no. Of candidates participating in exam are more therefore the completion is also very high.
So all the best
And participate in NEET ug counseling session for ayush asper the given  date.
Keep in touch with NTA site for all the updates
Thankyou  !

Hey!

If you have scored 64 marks in NEET 2019 (out of 720), then I am sorry to inform you that your admission is very tough in even BAMS and BHMS courses. Your rank will be too low to be included in merit list.

Usually top ranks are not required in alternative medicine courses, and the cutoffs go relatively lower than MBBS. But it is highly unlikely for you to get admission with 64 marks.

You can still apply, though.
I suggest you to study well for NEET 2020 to improve your chances of admission.

Hope it helps!

Hi Onkareshwar
Firstly congratulations for your result, you have scored quite nice in exam. Dear if we see the assumed cut off for BAMS in Maharashtra then it is 410 and above. So I don't want to disappoint you but it's not easy to grab a seat dear.
But you should go for it and fill the form for counselling. If the number of students don't apply for BAMS as many of candidates don't go for BAMS you can be the lucky one to get a seat.

Hope this helps you.
All the best for your career

In Maharashtra BAMS Cutoff for Open category approximately 300 for male and 280 for female.

For OBC it was 250 for male and 220 for female.

You Must Score approximately 400 Marks for Admission in R.A.Potdar BAMS college, Mumbai, which is the best BAMS college in Maharashtra.

350 is the cutoff for some colleges like DY Patil or MGM.
