Dear Candidate

According to previous year cutoff,For general category, in government and semi government colleges, the BAMS cutoff is around 400.

Private colleges may go down to a range of 300.

Hence, it might be a bit difficult to get BAMS. However, you can try through management quota.

Hey Pradeep,
BAMS admission is based on the NEET score. BAMS provides admission to government and private colleges.
  • The government colleges have a cutoff of around 425-430 for general category and 400 for reserved candidates. There are reservations for domicile students based upon state quota cutoffs.
  • Now for the private colleges the cutoffs for general category students are in the range of 295--300 and for reserved category candidates in the range of 260-280.However the fees are high as compared to government colleges.
So based upon your sister's marks she may give emphasis on the private colleges where she has more chances for admissions in BAMS course. For the government colleges she may have to wait for 3rd or 4th round of cutoffs if declated by the colleges. The fees is comparatively lower than that of private colleges in government colleges.

Hello

(this is just based on previous year statistics and it might change this year as the paper was reported to be relatively easier)

BAMS - 440+ for Government colleges 400+ for Semi Government and 350+ for Private

BHMS - 300+ should suffice because there are only private colleges.

However usually the cutoff goes something like this for bams and bhms

 1) Government - Cutoff of GOVERNMENT COLLEGES range in 420+ for General Candidates and 400+ for OBC.Fees is lowest in range of 20000

2) Semi - Government - Cutoff for this type of Colleges are somewhat lower and fees is higher than government in range of 40–50000. Its Cutoff is 400+ for General Candidate and 360+ for OBC.

3) Private - Now this is the most variable type of cutoff. As Colleges with low fee tend to have higher Cutoff and high fee college has low cutoff. Fees is in range of 1–3 lakh per year. Cutoff is in range of 300+ for General and 280+ for OBC

You can check out the cutoff for BPT however i dont think its cutoff would be any lower than 250 if you go through neet. All the best.

Hello aspirant.

As you have scored 193 marks in Neet examination 2019 and you belong to general category and you haven't mentioned your state of eligibility . As cutoff in every state would differ . With 194 marks it is difficult to get a  seat in government college , you can try in private Bams colleges.

All the best.

Hello I wish you had told me your category and home state. Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) is a course that one can pursue after completing Class 12 with science subjects. BAMS is based on the traditional art of healing in India; popularly known as Ayurveda. The cutoff for BAMS is usually around 350+ for UR category but since this year the paper was reported as easy the cutoff may be around 370. In any case you have good chances of getting admission in GMC nagpur or any college for BAMS. When the mop up round list for MBBS and BDS course was posted, the other health science courses like BAMS, BHMS,B.PT,etc were also included . The counselling for BAMS usually start after the counselling for MBBS and BDS are over. In any case I will suggest you to apply for counselling. All the best
